The commenting system I've been using on my website, Ment-O-Matic.NET 1.0b, has been released to the public under GPL. If you use Blogger or similar blogging systems and in need of a ASP.NET based commenting solution, give it a try. It should be very easy to setup and use.

UPDATE: While I was setting up a test bench on Brinkster, I noticed that I was using a feature that was only available on CLR 1.1, so I had to disable the auto-URL parsing feature on CLR 1.0 until I find time to fix it in a backward compatible way. The zip file has been updated along with a HISTORY.txt file that makes note of the change. The Brinkster test bench is here.

Talked to Dr. Kraniou about my independent Master's thesis. I'm steering away from my original topic related to evolutionary economics and veering towards writing about the future of the music "industry". More specifically I want to analyze the history of the industry alongside consumer behavioral psychology in an international setting to pitch my take on how the music industry should work in order to benefit the main two parties involved. Of course, I also believe there may be a new pool of companies that will prop up to also seek benefit from the new shape the industry will take. All in all this is a fascinating topic that spans across so many different aspects of business... Daddy likes... *smirk*
