I get this question a gazillion times a year... ok... I'm exaggerating... I get it like 10 times a year. ;) How can I live content in Pittsburgh for so long. So here goes my list of reasons:

  • I absolutely LOVE my job.
  • I get to take Computer Science classes @ CMU for FREE.
  • I get to workout at CMU for FREE
  • Living Cost is cheap. Find me a one-bed room apt., utilities all paid for, with an indoor garage for $600 elsewhere. This allows me to live with me putting in 40% of my salary into savings.
  • It's an hour drive to the 7 springs ski resort.
  • Ok, we don't have a good dim sum place or a half-decent Corean restaurant, but other than that we can kick some serious ass in the restaurant dept.
  • 4 hours drive to DC and 6 hours drive to NYC is perfectly doable with my beloved 1.8 turbo engine whenever my party-till-the-break-of-dawn or i-want-some-good-corean-food urge strikes.

Well, most importantly I have my cubbie here. ;) kee hee
