| Although, the U.S. Memorial day doesn't have as big a meaning to me as our own Memorial Day (6/25), but
the feeling I get everytime I hear about the outcome of any war is the same. From time to time
I have elderlies on the street who walk up to me and inquire about my country of origin. Once they find out that
I'm of the Korean heritage they try to start a conversatin with me by saying that they were there during the Korean war.
I honestly find those people a bit annoying, but come to think of it I guess their intent is good... I bow down
in memory of all casualties of war. |
