| In just a couple of days I'm off to Killington for a short and sweet 4 day snowboard trip. I got my new Belligerent bindings and my cousin got me a brand spanking new Airwalk Sonar (yellow) soft boots!! Yeah, my ride is still the old K2 HC, but who cares? I trust my HC to guide me through the slopes and the half pipes, so don't you try to get in between the two of us! ^^. Crunch time, babyee!!! Gots to improve on my skillz this year, yo!! |

| Saw Vanilla Sky today. Funny how I didn't know until I went to see it that it was a remake of Open Your Eyes which I, by pure coincidence, watched on a blockbuster vhs couple years back. I remember spotting this foreign film that, for some reason, attracted me into renting it... and I REALLY loved the movie... thought provoking and really tells a twisted tale in an elegant way. I wouldn't say that Vanilla Sky did the movie real justice. You should really watch the original. ;) I never thought I'd like Penelope Cruz, but the way she acts in the movie makes me totally dig her!! Not that she would care. ^^; But, that's so the personality that I seek for... dude, where would I find her???? |

 So I did it AGAIN! I bleached and put color on my hair... This time it was more painful than ever!! ( I really don't understand why I keep doing it... ) Well, so I wanted a wheat/barley/straw color... and I had to bleach it TWICE!!! You know how much that hurts, let alone how bad that is to your scalp? Dude... At any rate... so it got really light, and we put toner on it... and it turned silver!!! WHOA! That is NOT what I wanted.... so we color washed it and made it platinum/wheat... but it's quite a bit lighter than how I wanted it... so she wanted me to just sport it for a few days or something and come back to her if I still don't like it, to get it redone for free. Right now, I just want to give my scalp a break... -.-; |

 Finals are over, papers have been written and handed in. Back to project mode... concentrating on work projects, personal projects and some intertwinded ones for good measure. ^^
Started cleaning up my place, getting rid of crap, getting ready for 2002. Just got a CD shelf ( pretty cheap. $40 for a 350 CD shelver), so I'll nicely display all of the CDs I've got underneath my turntable setup so that I can put my record crates there instead.
That's me on the right hooked on MacMAME... namely New Zealand Story, Puyo Puyo and Stadium Heroes.. remember those games from way back when???... keh heh. Can't believe these are now referred as "retrogames"... -.-; |

Oh, and as an added bonus, you should take note of U-coupons.COM.. It basically discloses
all the coupon codes you can use at various websites so that you can get some discounts on purchases made on-line. ;) I already got 2 $10 discounts!! |

| I really get anoyed when I hear people saying stuff like "Well, your time is worth more than ..." as if my life is measured by labor cost of something... Look... if I want to spend my time in such a way that it seems as if the time has been "wasted" from your point of view, then that's that. Don't try to put a price tag on intangible things like time. I don't care how I could have "utilized" my time otherwise, cuz I just do what I do and that makes me who I am and not you (thank god). Money isn't the only way to measure things... I could really care less how much money I make until I die... I don't want to retire early nor do I want a nice car or a nice house. Right now given my current life style, as long as I have my bear minimum needs met, that's all I care about. Boy you must be really proud of how well this capitalistic society of yours has educated you. |

| I cannot believe what I just received from a colleague of mine at work. CMUers read this thing!!! Okay, CMU may not be a party school and there are definitely a lot of eccentric people here with all sorts of different life styles, but to say what he did leads me to believe that he has truly missed the point. This is just like the tale from Talmud of the blind men and the elephant. It's a relief that such ignorant people aren't part of the CMU alumni community. Dear college kid, life is what you make of it not what it makes of you. |

 Feeling a little good that I vaccumed my place today. ;) heh heh. Laundry, dishes, all done... Room smells good, too!! *PAT* on the back. ;)
Gotta get all my stats project finished before I go to sleep tonight so that I can work on the paper tomorrow... phew... That's my second computer in the back there.. It looks like either its mobo or the power supply went dead... damn it... I got it a new mobo and a new power supply recently, too... well, the mobo wasn't exactly a new one, but at any rate... urgh... I guess no more CD burning for some time. |

| Weird... one of the philosophies I have about love was actually echoed on a tv series... this guy on "UC Undercover" said it the way I've always said... "When you love somebody, you don't get mad, you just get disapointed." At least the writer of that show agrees with me. ;) heh heh. |
