It's been 5 weeks since I have started studying music seriously, and it's going pretty well I must say! I will probably have a much more concrete review of the course when I'm done with the 12 week program, but so far the only gripe I have is that the feedback is somewhat slow given that the professor isn't as geeky as I'd like him to be. :) But, when he does get around to answering my questions he certainly does a great job, so I just need to ask early and often. :) I got around to making a complete schedule out of all the currently offered courses. I'm pretty sure more courses will be added within the next year and I'll add a few more as I see fit, but the following is more or less what I'll be done within a year and a half.

• harmonic ear training
• the future of music and the music business (this one will help me with my MBA thesis as well)
• arranging I
• style writing
• arranging II
• desktop music production
• production workshop
• intermediate midi
• sound design

I'll probably end up taking 2,3 more than the above depending on what I learn from the courses listed above. Once I'm done with all my music training maybe I'll develop an appetite to go back to school for some more computer science.... who knows... ^^ Awwww, man! This is an exciting time for me!!!!
