I'm very low on inspiration right now... I think it may be due to the fact that my brain is filled with stuff about work and the various technical crap associated with it. I suppose I could put my geek hat on and post an entry on the various interesting challeges I'm dealing with in relation to the research effort I'm leading or joke about all the musings related to a rather fun commercial project I'm working on, but alas, today I feel like being one of those types of people that tend to get infatuated with the unfortunate side of their lives rather than the fortunate. *Gripe* *Whine* *Pout* -.-; (yes, I had to put the obligatory asian ascii emoticon there)

Well, I should say that the classes this semester are extremely useful. I don't mean to brag, but I think I'm doing a decent job of sequencing the courses the way I have done so far. I believe my curriculum is far better than the ones outlined by Berklee for the online courses. Then again, I'm modelling my curriculum after their "brick and morter" diploma program, so I'm back to being an inspiration-deprived idiot who has no friggin clue how to design a half-decent academic curriculum. :) But, it does beg the question as to why they have designed their online certificate program in such a haphazard way... I suppose the audience is different... Blah, who cares... I'm not pursuing a degree anyway.

...

Hmmm...

Uh... ok, so where was I? Oh yeah, lack of inspiration. Right...

I tried to do some last minute work on a remix contest, but I was thoroughly disgusted at the track I had produced. I did the usual "morning after" test on it and it just sucked so bad I ran around like a pregnant nun making sure my windows and doors were fully shut, my phone was properly on hook, and no neighbor was walking by on their way to the laundry room, just to make sure nobody else had heard the sad piece of crap that came out of my head!!! I seriously need some inspiration guys... What should I do? Should I just drive off to NYC, hit the blue note, order some shots, and get drunk in music for a few days? *SIGH* I'm so lost...
